Schedule & Work Settings Full‑Time: 30 to 40 hours per week (Typical shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM). Part‑Time: 20 to 25 hours per week (Typical shift: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM). Standby / PRN: Onboard immediately to be first in line as localized vacancies open up. The Setting: LPNs primarily assist medically fragile students in a 1:1 capacity by monitoring and providing care throughout the school day in accordance with the student’s care plan. (Note: health suite opportunities are available but are uncommon and only serve to aid the overseeing RN). Key Clinical Responsibilities Safe and accurate Medication Administration. Diabetes management and tracking. G-Tube / MIC-KEY Tube feedings and care. Tracheostomy care and monitoring. Implementing necessary seizure precautions and protocols. Performing straight and Foley catheterizations as required. Qualifications & Requirements License: Active, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Maryland or a Multi‑State Compact license. Certification: Current CPR / BLS Certification. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience (RN or LPN backgrounds are both valued).
