About the role

This position is eligible for a $2,000 sign on bonus!

The Field Service Technician II is responsible for cleaning and transporting Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste. Field Service Technician II is expected to perform various tasks, including but not limited to loading and unloading tanks and tankers with bulk liquids, completing inspection of equipment, hoses, and connections, and performing confined space entry.

Additionally, the Field Service Technician II will operate various equipment, including-but not limited to-pressure washers, hand trucks, forklifts, and power tools, with minimal direct supervision in accordance with company policies and procedures, OSHA requirements, and all local, state, and federal laws.

Field Service Technician II is required to have a Valid State Driver's License.

Responsibilities:

• Driving a commercial vehicle to pick up and transport waste to a designated location safely while meeting scheduled appointments and following all DOT regulations
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. Secures cargo before and during transport
• Use hydro blast equipment, forklift, skid loader, specialty vacuum equipment, and/or other equipment as needed. Perform work activities related to chemical, oil, and water spills.
• Completion of critical path documentation: manifests, driver logs, job summary, permits, etc.
• Work in confined spaces above & below ground and on & under equipment.
• Communicate with Project Manager and on-site customers
• Daily work in confined space entry, mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools, hand tools, and/or other tools as needed

Requirements:

• Valid State Driver's License.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of experience
• Experience in construction preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills. MS Outlook and Netsuite is a plus
• Ability to travel 25% of the time, including overnight travel.
• Ability to use heavy, light, and handheld equipment (forklift, track hoe, backhoe, skid steer, etc.).
• Work environment - outside weather conditions, exposure to the noise level.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical, background check, Motor Vehicle Report, and a review of previous employment and criminal history records.
  

Certifications:

• Pass the Respirator Fit Test

Pay Transparency

Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld's reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.

The pay range for the primary location of this position is: 18.65 - 24.86 USD per hour
