Overview of the Team The Customer Outcomes Team, based out of the State Street, NYC location, is responsible for successfully delivering all projects under the Project/Program in a manner that meets the company’s financial objectives and drives exceptional customer satisfaction. Role Overview: The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact (SPOC) for customer implementation projects, ensuring successful planning, coordination, execution, and project completion. This role manages project timelines, resources, stakeholder communications, and change requests to support on-time system deployment and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities include: Serve as the customer and internal project SPOC throughout implementation. Develop and maintain project plans, milestone schedules, and project documentation. Coordinate project logistics with customer stakeholders and internal teams. Establish project roles, responsibilities, and deliverables. Manage the change request process and track project impacts. Conduct project kick-off, status, and closure meetings. Monitor project progress, risks, and milestones, providing regular updates to stakeholders. Schedule and coordinate required internal resources. Facilitate project closeout and transition to Product Support. How You Will Make an Impact: The Project Manager’s influence will encompass the use of the company’s resources to successfully execute the Core deliverables outlined below. The Project Manager’s performance will be measured by how successful he/she is in completing the assigned projects on-time and under budget, setting goals and objectives with the manager throughout the fiscal year. Status Reports Change Requests Meeting Documentation Project Closure & Support Handoff Documentation Essential Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, Project, and Copilot Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills Professional Experience Minimum of 7 to 10+ years of technical project management experience, specifically within the financial technology (fintech), banking communications, or capital markets sectors. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Desired Skills and Experience: Methodology Mastery : Advanced proficiency in Agile , Scrum , and traditional Waterfall governance structures to balance fast-paced corporate shifts against highly rigid network deployments. Core Tooling : Active, daily usage of project management infrastructure software, explicitly mentioning enterprise setups like Jira , Confluence , and advanced tracking dashboards.
