Honing & Lapping Machinist

$28-$35/hr DOE

Full-Time: 6AM - 2:30PM (Monday to Friday) or 6AM - 4:30PM (Monday to Thursday)

We're seeking an experienced Honing & Lapping Machinist with a strong aerospace manufacturing and hands-on experience operating Sunnen honing machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate honing and lapping equipment
• Machine aerospace components to tolerances of 0.0001" - 0.0005"
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Perform precision measurements and inspections
• Maintain quality and production standards

Requirements

• 3+ years of honing and/or lapping experience
• Aerospace manufacturing experience required
• Experience with Sunnen honing machines
• Ability to hold extremely tight tolerances
• Proficient with micrometers, bore gauges, and precision measuring tools

Compensation

$28-$35 per hour, depending on experience, skill level, and overall qualifications.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, CA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
