Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives as a Special Education Teacher in an elementary school setting. There are two available full-time positions: Resource Teacher and Self-Contained Classroom Teacher. Both roles offer the opportunity to support approximately 25 students, providing individualized instruction and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.

As a contract educator, you’ll work Monday through Friday, collaborating with colleagues, parents, and support staff to meet students’ unique needs. The positions are located conveniently near San Tan Valley, creating the chance to impact local families while expanding your teaching experience in a supportive school community.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification for Arizona (or eligibility)
• Prior experience working with elementary-age children preferred
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and specialists
• Ability to create and adapt lesson plans for diverse learners
• Dedication to fostering a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of approximately 25 students in either a Resource or Self-Contained setting
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver differentiated instruction to meet students’ academic, social, and behavioral goals
• Collect and analyze student data to inform instruction and interventions
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and provide resources as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
