Make a meaningful impact by supporting students’ growth and development as part of a dedicated school-based therapy team near San Tan Valley, AZ. This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for an enthusiastic OT or COTA seeking hands-on experience in a school environment while covering a leave, with the possibility of extension through additional assignments.

You’ll work with a diverse caseload of 50-70 students from pre-K through 6th grade at a single, welcoming campus. Your expertise will help ensure every student gets the support they need to thrive.

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Arizona licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Pediatric or school-based OT/COTA experience preferred
• Strong collaboration, flexibility, and communication skills
• Commitment to supporting students’ functional and academic achievement

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments, document progress, and provide recommendations
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school protocols
• Foster a welcoming, positive environment for students from PK-6th grade
