Revenue Auditor

Job Purpose Performs daily revenue audits, cash summaries, journal entries and related revenue reports for management. Qualifications Experience with audits preferred. Must possess effective communication, organizational and analytical skills. Must be extremely numbers oriented and computer literate with superior spreadsheet skills, proficiency in Excel software highly preferred. Analytical and math skills. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers of common fractions and decimals. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Essential Job Functions Verifies and records daily information into revenue audit excel forms for the organization's various products and services sold and runs backup reports while ensuring that the information is correct and timely. Communicates both verbally and written with all departments on variances and exceptions to Policies and Procedures and the Internal Controls. Prepares journal entries and reconciles accounts on a regular basis. Evaluates various situations, with respect to revenue audits and determines how best to handle same. Ensures a maximum level of company-wide service and satisfaction in the area of revenue accounting is achieved and maintained. Attend regularly scheduled departmental meetings. Maintain confidentiality of all information. Limits access to information on job related need to know basis. Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
