IT Consultant V, Solutions - Solution Architecture & DesignThe role is expected to drive solution architecture and design on the initiatives that National products team engages in. This would require the individual to work closely with business and product partners to understand requirements and then translate those into implementable solutions engaging IT/System teams across Kaiser and vendors. This is a key technical leadership role within our team, so we need the person to have strong leadership and communication skills.Our team is National products IT team. Our team works closely with Product Launch Services team to manage the solutioning and delivery to launch products Kaiser brings to market in the Commercial, Medicare and other lines of business. We have a very healthy roadmap of products that we need to launch in the next few years so this role will play a key role in driving the solutioning work related to some of those initiatives.In addition to the responsibilities listed below, this position is responsible for providing support for customers (users), and assigned applications and/or information systems, including software implementation, cross-functional integration, complex configuration, and testing. Additional responsibilities also include leading solution design support efforts and research initiatives for translating requirements into workable technical solutions, and supporting the evaluation of third-party vendors as directed.Essential Responsibilities:Conducts or oversees business-specific projects by applying deep expertise in subject area;
