Full-time Speech Language Pathologist Position

Full-time speech language pathologist position located in Ennis, TX, offering up to $50 per hour. The role supports patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates will develop individualized treatment plans and contribute to community health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients for speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments
• Provide speech, language, cognitive, communication, and dysphagia therapy
• Perform swallowing evaluations and recommend treatment strategies
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and ongoing care
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, case management, and other professionals
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and patient conferences
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per facility and regulatory standards
• Assist patients in achieving the highest possible level of communication and functional independence
• Follow all applicable state, federal, and facility policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current or eligible Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Strong communication, assessment, documentation, and patient-care skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• New graduates may be considered depending on facility requirements

Preferred Skills:

• CCC-SLP certificate
• BLS/CPR certification
