We’re currently looking for a high‑caliber professional to join as Assistant Vice President, Commodity Trade Finance – Transaction Manager (AVP) -C12 - Hybrid , based in Changi, Singapore . The role focuses on managing CTF operational risk for transactional financing by ensuring rigorous and effective controls are in place. Key Responsibilities Monitor CTF transactional secured financing exposures and collateral values using the Triquesta system. Act as first point of contact for client transaction requests. Serve as intermediary between processing units and compliance teams for sanctions, compliance, money laundering, and anti‑fraud issues. Act as single point of contact for stakeholders on document scrutiny and discrepancy management. Escalate issues for quicker resolution. Ensure strong focus on risk and control in transaction processing and accurate discrepancy notices. Track the lifecycle of CTF transactions, including issuance, confirmation, and reimbursement of import and export letters of credit. Provide technical assistance for complex CTF transactions and documentation, liaising with clients, legal counsel, Citibank branches, and internal teams. Maintain clear and concise position reports per customer detailing transactional financing exposures and outstanding transactions. Report positions for transactional financing per obligor and client group to relevant CTF Transactors. Obtain prior approval for transactions that fall outside agreed facility parameters. Provide operational support for undisclosed payment guarantees (UPGs) and AR transactions. Accompany CTF Transactors on client visits if requested. Development Value Exposure to international trade, new products, and complex structures. Direct contact with external Citibank clients. Exposure to senior management across functions. Knowledge/Experience Knowledge of international Commodity Trade Finance operations, including issuance, confirmation, advising, negotiation, and reimbursement of letters of credit, guarantees, UPGs, and use of letters of indemnity. Strong operating knowledge of ICC UCP600 and ISP98 guidelines, trade incoterms, and market codes of conduct. Experience in monitoring physical collateral under secured facilities. Knowledge of Citibank’s risk management and audit approach. Competencies Confidence, self‑motivation, enthusiasm, and initiative.
