We are looking for an Accounting Manager to support core accounting operations for a long-term contract opportunity. This role will oversee critical close activities, maintain the integrity of the general ledger, and help ensure accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, a hands-on approach to reconciliations and journal entries, and experience working within Oracle Fusion Financials.
Responsibilities:
• Lead monthly close activities by coordinating timelines, reviewing entries, and ensuring reporting deadlines are met
• Manage the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger through regular review and analysis of financial activity
• Prepare and approve journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation and accounting treatment
• Perform detailed account reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Support financial statement audit activities by organizing schedules, responding to auditor requests, and validating data
• Monitor accounting records and reporting processes to strengthen compliance, consistency, and internal controls
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather financial information and clarify accounting issues affecting results
• Contribute to Oracle Fusion Financials-related initiatives, including process alignment, testing, and implementation support where needed
• Proven experience in an Accounting Manager or similar accounting leadership role• Strong background in month-end close, general ledger management, and account reconciliation
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and review journal entries accurately and efficiently
• Experience supporting financial statement audits and working with audit documentation
• Hands-on knowledge of Oracle Fusion or Oracle Fusion Financials
• Familiarity with system implementation activities within an accounting environment
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting accuracy
