General Gastroenterologist Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in a balanced practice that includes both outpatient and inpatient care.
• Participate in a structured inpatient rotation with five-day service assignments on a rotating basis.
• Maintain a predictable weekday schedule, typically Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional late procedures.
• Share general GI call responsibilities with faculty, including after-hours and weekend duties.
• Work alongside dedicated inpatient Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to enhance hospital-based care.
• Contribute to the growth of our expanding academic division and deliver expert GI care throughout the region.
• Engage in academic development opportunities in medical education, clinical research, and program development, with potential for protected time based on your clinical expertise and research interests.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Preferred experience of 3-5 years in practice; however, exceptional graduating fellows with strong clinical training will also be considered.
• A passion for academic medicine and a commitment to collaborative practice.
