Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)

Schedule

This position includes 12-hour rotating shifts, working 6-6, 7-7, and occasional 11-11 schedule.

Job Description

The Registered Vascular Technologist will collaborate with the imaging team to perform a variety of ultrasound procedures. This includes general ultrasound examinations, OB scans, small parts imaging, and vascular assessments (venous and arterial). The role requires a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound imaging studies including general, OB, small parts, and vascular ultrasound.
• Start IVs as necessary for imaging procedures.
• Maintain high standards of patient care while managing multiple tasks.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of imaging studies.
• Collaborate with radiologists for effective imaging interpretation and patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• Valid West Virginia License.
• ARDMS and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification required.
• Experience with OB and arterial extremity Doppler imaging is essential.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred; first-time travelers are welcome to apply.
