It is our role as therapists to assist in the identification of each child’s individual strengths and challenges in order to promote the use of effective sensory, motor, and communication skills. We will provide the child and their family with the tools to build the skills needed to maximize full potential.

PT Role Description:

Our new PT will be responsible for the evaluation and treatment of a variety of diagnoses and related impairments.

• Evaluating a patient's functional status
• Establishing treatment goals
• Planning treatment
• Implementing the plan of care through direct treatment
• Providing instruction and education to patient, family, and caregivers
• Evaluating need for interdisciplinary referral
• Participating in multidisciplinary patient care conferences
• Providing accurate, timely documentation of treatment

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Physical Therapy
• IL State License
• 1-3 years of pediatric experience preferred
• Comfort communicating with medical professionals
• Energetic, compassionate, positive attitude with patients and families
• Enjoys working in a team environment with PT/OT/ST and support staff
• Experience with EMR a plus
