The Position Our Occupational Therapists evaluate and treat children and young adults from birth through age 21 in a supportive, play-based outpatient environment. Clinical areas may include: Sensory processing and sensory integration Self-regulation and emotional regulation Fine motor and hand skills Reflex integration Visual-motor and visual-perceptual skills Bilateral coordination Balance, strength, and motor planning Executive functioning and attention Activities of daily living School readiness Functional independence and participation Therapists are encouraged to use their clinical judgment and develop individualized treatment plans based on the needs of each child and family. You’ll also have the opportunity to collaborate with our Speech-Language Pathology team and work closely with parents and caregivers to promote carryover across home, school, and community environments. Qualifications Pediatric Occupational Therapy experience is required. Candidates must have: Minimum of 2 years of pediatric OT experience 3+ years of pediatric experience preferred Current Illinois Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for Illinois licensure Experience evaluating and treating pediatric clients Strong clinical reasoning skills Strong written documentation skills Excellent communication with children, parents, and caregivers Ability to work independently while collaborating with other professionals This position is not currently open to new graduates. Schedule Full-Time | Four 10-Hour Days Typical working hours are approximately: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM or 8:30 AM–6:30 PM The position provides a consistent three-day weekend each week . Scheduling is determined collaboratively based on clinic needs and therapist availability whenever possible.
