The objective of the Operations Emerging Talent Rotational Program is to develop leadership skills and attributes with a blend of technical knowledge, business acumen, and soft skills, so that you are ready to make a positive impact and use your talents to accomplish more than you thought possible. Selected candidates will receive a solid mentor, rotation managers, and buddy support system to guide them throughout the program. Key Responsibilities Complete complex rotation assignments and tasks. Dive into new topics, work areas and functions, and ramp up knowledge quickly to contribute meaningfully and meet expectations and milestones. Demonstrate agility and flexibility while transitioning through three rotations. Understand the wider business context and how your own work contributes to Amgen’s strategies and goals. Use data and insights to drive business performance. Program Details The 26‑month Rotational Program consists of one 10‑month and two 8‑month rotations in Operations, covering critical functions such as Manufacturing, Quality, Process Development, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations Transformation and Digital Strategy. The cohort kicks off in July 2027; candidates must be available for full‑time employment in July 2027. Qualifications Basic: Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or other relevant disciplines from an accredited college or university by the time the program kicks off in July 2027. Preferred: Proven leadership skills demonstrated through extracurricular or work experience activities. Previous Amgen or relevant industry experience in biopharma, manufacturing, or engineering environment. Minimum GPA of 3.20 preferred. Strong technical and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across teams and levels of management. Excellent time and project management skills. Excellent problem‑solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a dedicated approach to achieving success. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices. Willingness to relocate to other Operations sites for future career opportunities. Willingness to work shifts, including weekends. Benefits and Compensation The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is $71,349.85–$96,532.15.
