Fixed Assets AccountantJoin our team as the Fixed Assets Accountant and take full ownership of the fixed-asset accounting function across the full asset lifecycle. Reporting directly to the Plant Controller, you will manage capital-expenditure processing, subledger reconciliations, close activities, and internal controls, and set the standard for asset reporting integrity that supports Finance, operations, and leadership.This role is ideal for a detail-driven accounting professional who has experience in fixed-asset accounting within a manufacturing environment, and who wants a high-ownership role with clear scope and audit visibility, as well as the opportunity to deepen expertise in SOX compliance and ERP environments with a stable and expanding company.Fixed Assets Accountant | What You Will DoReview and process capital-asset purchase requests in accordance with approved CAPEX policiesPrepare monthly reconciliations of the fixed-asset subledger to general ledger balances and investigate and resolve differencesPrepare and post monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed-asset closing entries and complete related close proceduresMaintain fixed-asset tax ledgers, prepare roll-forwards, and maintain and close Asset Management recordsPrepare documentation and data for internal and external audits, quarterly reviews, and SOX complianceAdvise cross-functional teams on fixed-asset policies, CAPEX versus OPEX classification, and documentation requirementsMonitor and implement fixed-asset internal controls to preserve reporting integrity and identify risksSupport ERP implementations and fixed-asset data-conversion activities as neededFixed Assets Accountant | What You BringBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance2 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of GAAP, fixed-asset subledgers, and general ledger reconciliationAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with business-intelligence reporting toolsExperience supporting internal or external audits; SOX and ERP experience preferredU.S. citizenship or permanent-resident status with current authorization to work in the United StatesFixed Assets Accountant | The PerksMedical, dental, vision, pharmacy, and virtual-care options, plus flexible-spending and dependent-care accountsPaid vacation and holidays401(k) and Roth options with employer matching contributionsLife insurance and AD&D coverage options
