We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial HVAC Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) projects within the commercial construction sector. Duties

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial HVAC installation projects from inception through completion.
• Manage on-site construction activities, supervise HVAC crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure work aligns with project schedules and quality standards.
• Review construction drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications to interpret project requirements accurately.
• Oversee safety compliance by enforcing federal construction safety regulations (OSHA) and construction safety management protocols across all job sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, adherence to budgets, and safety standards; address issues proactively.
• Review technical drawings and schematics for accuracy
• Facilitate communication among management teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Supervise the review of construction schedules and coordinate construction schedule updates to adapt to project changes or delays.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in commercial construction management with a focus on HVAC systems; prior supervisory experience required.
• Strong knowledge of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety regulations specific to heavy industrial work sites.
• Demonstrated ability in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings related to HVAC systems.
• Skilled in managing teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and quality control.
• Excellent communication skills for managerial coordination, client updates, and team supervision; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Familiarity with construction site experience involving blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters.
• Ability to enforce strict adherence to construction safety management practices while fostering a culture of safety awareness among crews.
