Business Data Analyst

This individual will drive end-to-end data initiatives, partnering closely with business stakeholders to define priorities, manage deliverables, and ensure the successful execution of data-driven projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguous environments, enjoys leading initiatives from concept to delivery, and can independently translate loosely defined business needs into structured, actionable solutions. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end data initiatives, from requirements gathering through delivery and stakeholder adoption Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define project scope, priorities, and success metrics Translate business needs into clear project plans, timelines, and deliverables Manage multiple concurrent data projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment Drive the development of dashboards and reporting solutions to support business decisions Oversee data modeling, transformation, and reporting workstreams to ensure alignment with business goals Define and standardize key performance metrics (e.g., cycle time, team performance) across stakeholders Facilitate communication between technical teams and business partners to ensure alignment and clarity Rapidly prototype solutions to address evolving business needs and provide actionable insights Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs Operate independently with minimal direction in environments with limited documentation

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Proven experience managing or leading data-focused projects or initiatives Strong stakeholder management and ability to gather/translate business requirements into deliverables Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences Experience working in Agile or fast-paced environments with evolving priorities Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and deliver on tight timelines Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments Experience delivering reporting, dashboards, or analytics solutions that drive business decisions Understanding of data workflows (SQL, ETL, data modeling, visualization tools such as Tableau) Familiarity with tools like Jira, Clarity, or similar project tracking systems Proven ability to rapidly prototype and iterate based on stakeholder feedback #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
