Pre-Suit Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Pre-Suit Attorney to join their team in Wilmington, Delaware. The successful candidate will handle pre-litigation work, focusing on personal injury cases, primarily premises liability. This role involves managing a team and driving compliance with key performance indicators. Duties Handle all pre-litigation work daily. Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval process. Guide clients through the case process. Draft and file pre-litigation documents. Oversee settlement negotiations and demand package formation. Manage the release approval process. Lead a team of 6-10 Case Managers. Focus on personal injury cases, primarily premises liability. Drive compliance and KPIs among the team. Conduct EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements. Requirements Law degree from a fully accredited law school. Active member in good standing with the DE State Bar Association. 2+ years of personal injury experience. Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases. Excellent client service and communication skills. Strong leadership skills. Self-starter driven by long-term career goals. Superior writing and oral advocacy skills. Desire to become part of a trial team. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Active DE State Bar Association membership.
