Human Resources Manager

Job Overview Our client is New England’s largest petroleum transportation company with ten facilities in five of six New England states, specializes in hauling gasoline, diesel, propane, liquid asphalt, heavy oil, flatbed, and cement throughout New England. Responsibilities Serve as the primary admin for the Paycom platform (workflow, track disciplinary data, training, audits, etc) Oversight of employee conduct, relations, and investigation HR is involved with onboarding, benefits & renewal Workforce support Serve as the subject matter expert for trade compliance, including HTS classifications, ECCN classifications, Country of Origin determinations, tariffs, customs compliance, export controls, and import/export regulation Partner closely with Legal, Supply Chain, Engineering, Product Management, Warehouse, and Operations teams while developing SOPs, compliance procedures, audit programs, and training material This individual will oversee one Import/Export Coordinator and help build the future trade compliance organization. Products move globally between Asia, the United States, Canada, and Mexico, requiring strong product-level classification expertise and the ability to make independent compliance decisions Ideal Candidate Background MUST have direct Paycom administration experience Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience Strong knowledge of employee benefits administration Experience managing Open Enrollment and employee benefit programs Experience administering FMLA, PFML, ADA accommodations, and leave programs Employee relations and workplace investigation experience Experience handling disciplinary matters and performance management Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered Preferred SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification Experience supporting a multi-state workforce Preferred experience in transportation, logistics, manufacturing, construction, utility, or other blue‑collar industry #J-18808-Ljbffr CS Recruiting
