2- 3rd shift (Direct Hire) industrial maintenance tech roles, direct hire. Candidates must have basic computer Windows knowledge (Word, Excel, etc.) as they need record and document all work activities. Plant is currently divided to 4 different areas in the plant. 1 technician is assigned to each section that they are responsible for. Monitor all equipment and if there is an error knowing when to reach out for help. Being proactive in knowing if a machine is going to break down or if the maintenance team needs to shut the machine down to repair. Candidates must be able to effectively diagnose and repair.

• What will your interview process look like?: Initial Microsoft Teams phone interview, Ramsay Assessment (60 multiple choice skills-based test, on-site interview and plant tour.
• Years of experience Required: 5-7 years of progressive industrial maintenance experience.
• Work Hours/Schedule: 3rd shift 2-2-3 (12 hour rotating shift). Overnight hours are 6:30pm-7am.
• OT Required: Yes, sometimes
• PPE Required: Bridgestone will supply.
• Training Schedule/Hours: Training on 1st shift. What are the 1st shift hours? How long will they be training on 1st shift? 8 hours-6:30am-3:30pm, training minimum of 2 months

Bandag is a critical piece of Bridgestone dedicated to the research, development, and manufacturing of premium retread tires. Bridgestone Bandag, LLC. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multi-Craft Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliable operation and maintenance of production equipment and facilities. This role involves performing a variety of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic tasks to minimize downtime and optimize manufacturing processes.


Job Responsibilities:
* Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on a wide range of industrial machinery, including mixers, extruders, presses, and conveying systems.
* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues such as bearing failures, gear box malfunctions, and alignment problems.
* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems including motors, controls, sensors, PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens), and VFDs.
* Execute hydraulic and pneumatic system repairs, including valve replacement, cylinder resealing, and line repair.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to facilitate repairs and installations.
* Conduct equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades to improve efficiency and safety.
* Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to log work orders, track parts usage, and document maintenance activities.
* Adhere to all safety regulations, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and company policies.
* Collaborate with production personnel and engineering teams to identify and resolve recurring equipment issues.
* Perform basic welding, fabrication, and machining tasks as needed.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Work overtime as required.

Minimum Qualifications:


o Proficient in multiple technical areas, including hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical repair, welding, electrical controls, and/or PLCs.
o Experienced with MS Office and CMMS software.
o Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
o Capable of troubleshooting various types of robotic equipment.
o Flexible and adaptable to changing work environments and challenges.

o Minimum of two years industrial maintenance experience.

Physical Requirements:


Lifting requirements may be up to 70lbs. on an occasional basis. Lifting requirements range from a height of 3-5 feet. Medium physical effort is required to maneuver throughout departments that include climbing stairs; in addition, a considerable amount of standing is necessary


Max pay for the FTE Role is $41.64/hr. Pay range is $34.90-$41.64/hr.
