Description Job Summary As a CBRE, Government & Defense Services Commercial Cleaning Lead, youare responsible foroverseeing the work activities of cleaners within the site. You will supervise the staff responsible for ensuring a clean, orderly, and safe environment for employees and clients. Primary Job Functions Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks and cross-train staff. Schedule daily staff meetings and required in-service training sessions. Check cleaning equipment condition. Order cleaning supplies as needed. Ensure supplies are in a safe, secure area always. Coordinate and liaise with clients and employees. Handle complaints and feedback. Inform the team of requests and confirm completion. Inspect work done by cleaners andsubmitdaily cleanliness reports. Initiate regular training on procedures for the use of chemical cleaners. Ensure standardized cleaning process meets company standards. Provide daily cleaning support toprivate areasof the buildingdesignatedas needed. Resolve complex problems and identifyappropriate approachesto existing solutions toaccomplishteamobjectives. Mayestablishnew techniques to ensure the team is able to meet itsobjectives. Hasa direct impact onteamobjectivesas well as theobjectivesof related teams. Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customerobjectives. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE-GDS values. Education, Experience and Certification High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Fulfill the physical requirements associated with this role. This includes stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs. Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts withinownfunction and basic knowledge of related job functionsrequired. Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
