Process Engineer Manager

Position Summary TEL is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the New Product Process Technology Group located in Chaska, Minnesota. Responsibilities Manage a team of process engineers to support process development, process optimization, and continuous improvement for the existing product fleet and new platforms. Implement engineering working standards to drive increased work efficiency and quality improvement. Define department technical and resource strategies to support company goals. Establish equipment operation and process specifications. Manage department budget, engineer & equipment schedules, and project priorities. Work closely with customer engineers and managers to coordinate efforts within the department to develop and demonstrate new processes. Prepare and present material for internal and customer meetings. Collaborate with TMEA factory, product team, sales and marketing groups, and other functional areas to prepare changes, additions, and modifications that facilitate customer adoption and improve quality of process equipment. Act as liaison with product design and development to ensure processes and designs are compatible. Facilitate the creation and capture of intellectual property for TEL associated with semiconductor equipment, process, and manufacturing. Travel to Japan, external customers, and TMEA offices as required. Hire, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of process engineering support. Set goals for the group and individuals and drive accountability to those goals. Create individual development plans with direct reports and help team members meet their goals. Manage department resources aligned with the RBA Code of Conduct. Minimum Requirements Minimum four-year degree in a science/technology discipline. Minimum eight years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing and/or semiconductor equipment. Prior process engineering and/or process engineering management experience. Deep knowledge of equipment technology and semiconductor device structures. Knowledge and experience of vacuum-based equipment. Knowledge and experience of plasma etch equipment. Strong problem finding and solving skills. Strong oral communication and technical presentation skills. Ability to travel 0‑10% of the time. Salary and Benefits Salary Range: $133,076.06–$192,944.77 per year. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and, for certain roles, eligibility in our bonus plan and long‑term incentives.
