Role Description The Paralegal will provide direct support to attorneys in a fast-paced litigation environment, with a focus on personal injury, civil rights, and related practice areas. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal and factual research, drafting and preparing legal documents, organizing case files, and assisting with discovery and document management. The role also involves communicating with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and courts, as well as scheduling, calendar management, and trial preparation support. This is a full-time, on-site role located in New Orleans, LA, requiring consistent in-office collaboration with attorneys and staff. Qualifications Solid understanding of Law and litigation procedures, particularly in personal injury, civil rights, and related practice areas. Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence. Strong Research skills for case law, statutes, regulations, and factual investigation. Attention to detail in Document Review, including analysis of medical records, police reports, and discovery materials. Clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal team members. Experience with case management software, Microsoft Office, and electronic filing systems. Ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work independently while supporting a small legal team. Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred; prior law firm or litigation experience is highly beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
