Senior Laboratory Technologist – Specialty Labs – Central Laboratory (Day Shift) At NewYork‑Presbyterian Hospital, Laboratory Technologists are redefining the limits of science and medicine. Join a highly‑skilled technical team in our Special Hematology/Coagulation area of the Central Laboratory at NewYork‑Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Responsibilities Perform all patient tests as part of the Hematology/Coagulation laboratory. Perform quality control procedures and routine preventative maintenance. Supervise and coordinate the activities of laboratory personnel in the performance of quantitative and qualitative tests under the supervision of the Lead Technologist and Laboratory Supervisor. Relieve the Lead Technologist during temporary absences. Preferred Criteria 6 years of experience as a Laboratory Technologist. ASCP certification. Required Criteria Minimum of two years experience in Special Hematology/Coagulation. Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (or equivalent experience). New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education Department. Work Schedule and Location Full‑time day shift, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with rotating on‑call weekends and holidays. Location: Weill Cornell campus on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Additional Information All roles require on‑site presence. Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse travel expenses. Salary Range $55.80–$66.65 per hour.
