The Assistant Nurse Manager, Perioperative Services will join a respected academic teaching hospital known for clinical excellence, compassionate care, strong safety practices, and community impact. The Assistant Nurse Manager, Operating Room will support fast-paced Surgical Services and Perioperative Services featuring advanced surgical capabilities, a Level I Trauma Center, and comprehensive specialty care . This healthcare organization emphasizes evidence-based clinical practices, patient safety, quality improvement, interdisciplinary collaboration, staff development, professional growth, and meaningful service to diverse communities.
Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, the Associate Nurse Manager, Operating Room will collaborate with friendly nurses, surgeons, anesthesia professionals, technicians, educators, and a diverse healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating operating room activities
- Supporting staffing and workflow
- Coaching employees
- Reinforcing regulatory standards
- Advancing safe, efficient surgical care
Qualifications
- 3 years of RN experience, including one year as a charge nurse or lead
- A bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred
