DevOps EngineerGreater Portland – Hybrid onsite 2-3 days per weekDescriptionThis role is available with one of the world's most experienced platform firmware security companies. We are seeking a DevOps engineer to streamline our use of our IT resources for development and deployment of a new product to AWS, as well as to provide internal support for processes related to our firmware development. Note that responsibilities will evolve over time, and adaptability is a key requirement for this position.ResponsibilitiesConfiguration and improvement of automated build testing and integration (CI/CD)Documenting CI/CD processes, and educating team members on how processes workMonitoring system metrics such as queue depthProviding assistance to IT with automation of IT related tasksSetting up tools and required infrastructureEncouraging and building automated processes wherever possibleIncidence management and root cause analysisProviding support to various teams as neededDefining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operationRequirements:4 years of experience in a DevOps or SRE roleRecent experience with AWS Cloud ServicesScripting knowledge: Microsoft Powershell, JavaScript, Python, and/or BASHExperience automating with CI/CD through JenkinsExperience using GitHub and SVNExperience with Kubernetes, preferably EKSNice to have:Experience with VMWare and/or vSphereExperience using TerraformFamiliarity with Docker, Docker ComposeFamiliarity with testing tools such as Sonarqube and NexusExperience with Nuget and setting up Nuget serversExperience with Microservices/Microservices Architecture
