The Department of Neurosurgery at our organization, in collaboration with the College of Medicine, is on the lookout for a highly qualified Spine Neurosurgeon who specializes in spinal oncology. This role is based at our primary facility, located in Hershey, PA. Candidates with fellowship training in spinal surgery, particularly focusing on oncological conditions of the spine, are preferred. This is a full-time academic role, and the academic title will be aligned with the candidate's experience. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a strong dedication to patient care, a keen interest in pioneering research, and a commitment to education. Collaborative skills are essential for this position.

• Our Department of Neurosurgery features seven clinical divisions that encompass all major subspecialties within neurosurgery, making it the sole academic neurosurgical practice in South Central Pennsylvania.
• The Spinal Surgery Division at our flagship hospital is led by two fellowship-trained spine surgeons, specializing in techniques ranging from minimally invasive procedures to complex deformity corrections. This division also includes two advanced practice providers.
• The Neuro-Oncology and Skull Base Surgery Division comprises a fellowship-trained tumor neurosurgeon, a full-time medical neuro-oncologist, an advanced practice provider, and a nurse coordinator.

• MD, MD/PhD, DO, or an equivalent medical degree.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
• Fellowship training in spinal surgery with a focus on spinal oncology.
• Eligibility to obtain a medical license in Pennsylvania.
• Must be able to secure valid federal and state opioid certifications.
• Demonstrated history of clinical excellence.
