Director, Consumer Strategy and Experience

Our lead development program targets the neurologic control of upper airway muscles to maintain an open airway during sleep. The Director, Consumer Strategy and Experience will lead the development and execution of AD109’s consumer/patient strategy and the end-to-end patient experience leading up to launch and beyond, positioning a transformative therapy to address a substantial unmet need in the market. This is a hands‑on, senior individual‑contributor role reporting to the Vice President, Consumer Marketing. Key Job Duties include, but are not limited to: Own consumer strategy, positioning, and messaging Lead audience segmentation, prioritization, and activation Own the end‑to‑end patient journey and consumer experience across touchpoints, including definition, strategy, and optimization Define the patient support program as part of the patient experience Drive consumer campaigns and omnichannel coordination in partnership with Content, Media, and Agency teams Develop bed partner engagement strategies and initiatives Manage consumer innovation and launch‑readiness activities Gather consumer intelligence, demand signals, and omnichannel metrics to inform strategy and creative Use AI tools to accelerate research, content development, and optimization Partner with Market Development, Analytics, Social, and Content teams Qualifications: 8+ years of consumer or omnichannel marketing experience, ideally in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or another regulated consumer category Proven track record building and running integrated consumer campaigns, ideally through a product launch Skilled in positioning, messaging, segmentation, patient journey and experience design, and multichannel campaign execution Hands‑on fluency with AI tools and a data‑driven approach to insight Comfortable working in ambiguity, piloting new approaches, and making fast, pragmatic decisions Works autonomously in a fast‑paced, agile environment What Apnimed Offers: 401(k) with company match Generous time off for vacation Generous Company paid benefits Flexible working environment Motivated and experienced team Location and Other Information: Apnimed is an EEO employer committed to an exciting, diverse, and enriching work environment.
