Field Service Engineer 2 - Wknd
Intuitive Surgical
Field Service Engineer 2 supporting Intuitive Surgical's products in the San Jose area. Responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electro-mechanical systems at customer sites, with weekend shift availability (Friday-Monday, 10am-9pm or 7am-6pm).
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Intuitive products and associated equipment
- Perform scheduled maintenance including inspections, preventive care, software updates, and system upgrades
- Conduct training sessions at facilities, training centers, and hospitals
- Maintain accurate service documentation, reports, inventory records, and administrative records
- Manage assigned customer territory, respond to service requests, and provide ongoing technical support
Requirements
- High school diploma minimum; associate's degree in related field preferred
- 1-3 years of field service experience preferred
- Proven troubleshooting and repair of electro-mechanical systems
- Ability to travel up to 75% and reside within 30 miles of assigned territory
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Able to lift 75 lbs and move wheeled objects up to 1,200 lbs
- Vendor credentialing approval and vaccination compliance for operating room access
