AM Service Manager

da Toscano is looking to expand our front of house management team. We recently relocated from 24 Minetta Lane to 49 W. 44th Street in the historic Iroquois Hotel.

We are looking for candidates with AM availability. However, schedule must be flexible for occasional PM coverage for other members of the management team during vacations.

SERVICE MANAGER (AM SERVICES)
• Support daily FOH operations and lead service shifts, specifically Breakfast/Lunch services.
• Monitor service flow, pacing, and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with training, onboarding, and team development.
• Act as a guest-facing leader to resolve issues and elevate experiences.

We are seeking professional candidates who love building relationships with guests and peers. Hospitality is incredibly important. Candidates with the following qualities are highly preferred:

• Bilingual English/Spanish language proficiency
• A well rounded resume, with experience in multiple positions in the restaurant industry
• Creative and passionate, bringing out the best in the team
• Experience with inventory, basic computer skills and phones
• Understanding of Resy and Toast POS systems
• Hands on, teaching by showing and leading by example
• Polished, effortless and natural floor presence; able to build lasting relationships with every diner
• Offer a helping hand on the floor at all times and demonstrate patience

This position includes additional administrative responsibilities which include:

• Entry and tracking of team hours and tips, and financial reporting. 
• Sorting, coding and filing of invoices and documents. 
• Staff education materials during menu changes (food, wine and cocktails).
• Maintain cleanliness standards and hold the team responsible for compliance to all DOH requirements.
• Menu changes/reprints and website edits.
