Please forward your resume to: View email address on click.appcast.io St. Martin of Tours is seeking an After School Program Assistant to provide homework assistance, facilitate fun learning activities that are curriculum driven, and supervise enrichment activities such as sports, games, arts, music, crafts, drama and dance for students in the After School Program. Responsibilities Be a positive role model for students Provide leadership and guidance for approximately 20-30 students Organize and manage a group of students with the ability to maintain a calm and quiet classroom to facilitate homework time Plan and implement recreation activities such as kickball, soccer, four square, basketball, and other games Supervise children on playground and classrooms Treat children with dignity and respect, while helping to build self-esteem and confidence through one-on-one interaction Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent demonstration of academic competency Must pass a criminal background check and 2 sets of fingerprints Possess a valid driver's license/ID Minimum age 18+ years old CPR and First Aid certification required Must meet state health requirements Education and Experience A combination of training, education, and experience which demonstrate the ability to assist in the planning and facilitation of activities in an after school program.
