Data / Data Platform Engineer

Salary: $70,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements:

• Proficiency in Python and Go (Golang).
• Hands-on experience with PySpark, Apache Hadoop, Apache Hive, and Apache Kafka for batch and real-time, event-driven pipelines.
• Proven experience with BigQuery, GCP Data Lake architectures, and Google Cloud data services.
• Demonstrated ability to build data quality validation, cross-source deduplication, data enrichment, and schema-standardization pipelines.
• Experience integrating pipelines with enterprise REST APIs, messaging systems, and security or ITSM platforms.
• Preferred: Background in vulnerability management, application security, or cybersecurity data analytics.
• Preferred: Familiarity with code-scanning, SAST, or DAST tools such as Checkmarx, and ServiceNow Vulnerability Response, SecOps, or Snow AR modules.
• Preferred: Experience with enterprise-scale code repository metadata and GitHub or GitLab pipelines.
• Preferred: Experience in financial services or highly regulated enterprise environments.
• Preferred: CISSP, CASE, or CSSLP certification.
• Preferred: Experience in large enterprise banking environments with multiple business units.
• Preferred: Familiarity with DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, Veracode, Checkmarx, or Snyk.

• Design, develop, and optimize high-throughput batch and real-time streaming pipelines for enterprise security scanner findings.
• Use PySpark, Hadoop, Hive, and Kafka to process large volumes of vulnerability data.
• Implement data quality, enrichment, severity and criticality scoring, and deduplication across multiple scanning feeds.
• Ingest and process data using GCP services, including the GCP Data Lake and BigQuery, while supporting migration from on-premises pipelines to GCP.
• Build a modular framework that enables the security team to integrate, evaluate, and compare outputs from new LLM and security scanner models.
• Format and validate data, then deliver actionable results to downstream systems and remediation workflows.
