Work Schedule: Must be available Monday -Thurs 7:45am- 5:30pm and Friday 7:45am – 1pm Responsibilities include(but not limited to): Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, answering phones, and insurance verification as needed Enter information for medication prior authorization applications Obtain insurance referrals Greet and prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs and medical history Assist physician, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners with exams and procedures Perform in-office diagnostic tests and blood draws, including blood glucose checks, EKGs, and other testing Administer injections and assist with medication management under provider supervision Handle prescription refills, prior authorizations, and lab result follow-ups Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment Qualifications: Current Texas Licensed LVN or LPN Will accept new graduates Medical knowledge is a must Ability to effectively communicate with staff, patients, and physicians. Maintains a positive, caring attitude towards patients and families. Good computer skills using a medical management application (EHR). - NextGEN experience is a plus Possesses a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism. Must be reliable/dependable during work hours. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
