Job Title: Senior Program Manager Location: Reston VA. Purpose:Manages end-to-end delivery of team and internal projects from the initial kickoff to coordinating major launch milestones to maintain and enhance program performance over time.Guides clients through key decisions, communicates and coordinates activities internally and across departments.Works on new needs for process and improvements and identities and articulates internal client needs to the technology team.Essential Functions:35% Coordinates with internal client and internal teams to launch, maintain, and enhance complex programs. Guides internal clients through key decisions and communicates and coordinates activities internally and across network of partners.20% Manages and updates Project Schedule, Issues/Action Items/Risks, Installation Checklist, and Shipping Register.20% Identifies and articulates new customer needs to the technology team.10% Manages all aspects of implementation including ordering applicable equipment, overseeing installation, assisting with and supporting account creation, managing communications, and reconciling inventory upon completion.10% Ensures and drives deliverables to completion by the implementation schedule.5% Conducts training for customers.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems., Expert.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications., Expert.Proficient in project planning and life cycle development., Expert.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal., Expert.Ability to train and mentor others., Advanced.The incumbent is required to immediately disclose any debarment, exclusion, or other event that makes them ineligible to perform work directly or indirectly on Federal health care programs.Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads that can be variable for long periods of time.Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence.Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education Level:Bachelor's Degree.Education Details:Business Management or related field.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree.Licenses/CertificationsCertified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI.PgMP - Program Management Professional.Experience:10 years’ experience in a program operation role with 3 years in a program management capacity.In Lieu of EducationIn lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
