Senior Financial AnalystPosition Overview:The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making by providing detailed financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting for the Commercial Services business unit. This individual will leverage their financial modeling skills, business acumen, leadership, curiosity, and communication skills to provide insights and clarity around financial performance and projections. This position will report to the Director, Finance and will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights that drive business performance, ensure financial integrity, and enable data-informed decisions.Essential Responsibilities:Develop and maintain driver-based financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planningPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages with variance analysis and actionable insightsCollaborate with department leaders (Sales, Operations, HR, Supply Chain) to understand financial impacts and optimize outcomesConduct sensitivity analyses and what-if scenarios to evaluate investments, pricing, and resource allocationsIdentify margin improvement opportunities, track KPIs, and support continuous improvement initiativesEnsure accuracy of financial data, align with US GAAP and company policies, and support internal/external audits as neededLeverage ERP and BI tools (e.g., Oracle/PBCS, Power BI/Tableau) to automate reporting and enhance insightsQualifications:Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus5–7 years in FP&A or financial analysis roles with progressive responsibilityAdvanced Excel skills (nested formulas, Power Query, Power Pivot), detailed financial modeling (3-statement models), and proficiency with ERP/BI tools; SQL skills highly preferredStrong presentation and communication skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and deliver clear recommendationsA sense of urgency with strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracyStrong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to lead projects, challenge assumptions, and achieve positive resultsIntegrity, accountability, and commitment to continuous improvementVerra Mobility Values An ideal candidate for this role naturally works in alignment with the Verra Mobility Core Values:Own It.
