Special Ed Teacher - Onancock, Virginia

Multiple full-time contract positions are available for passionate Special Education Teachers ready to make a difference for the remainder of the school year. Current openings include:
- Two elementary grades K-5 inclusion positions
- One elementary grades K-5 self-contained role
- One middle school (grades 6-8) inclusion position
- Valid Special Education Teaching credentials
- Experience or strong interest in elementary and/or middle school settings
- Commitment to inclusive education and differentiated instruction
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general educators and para support staff
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility, adaptability, and dedication to supporting diverse learners
- Provide individualized instruction and accommodations within inclusion and/or self-contained classrooms
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and learning progress for students with disabilities
- Foster a supportive, respectful classroom environment that celebrates student growth
- Work closely with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to deliver comprehensive support
- Embrace ongoing professional development and contribute ideas to elevate student achievement
- Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with school and district policy
