Special Education Teacher in Parksley, VA

Multiple roles are open: two positions focus on elementary grades K-5 inclusion, one position is for an elementary K-5 self-contained classroom, and another for middle school inclusion (grades 6-8). What you bring:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience in elementary or middle school environments, particularly within inclusion or self-contained models
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to partner with families, staff, and para support
• Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
• Adaptability and creativity in tailoring instruction and behavioral supports

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with varying abilities in K-5 or 6-8 inclusion/self-contained settings
