Location: Belchertown, MA
Pay: $20/hr
Service Type: Per Diem / Flexible

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and daily living support to children ages 6-12 in a residential setting
• Support skill-building activities and structured daily routines
• Implement behavioral support strategies under program guidelines
• Respond calmly and quickly to behavioral incidents as trained
• Document care activities and incidents accurately per program standards

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Experience with children or youth preferred; genuine interest in behavioral health required
• Ability to respond physically and calmly in active situations
• Reliable transportation to Belchertown, MA
• Available for 2nd or 3rd shift and weekend scheduling

Training Requirement

All new staff complete site-specific training prior to working independently. Training sessions are held Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Candidates must be available to attend.

Background Check

All candidates must pass a background check including Criminal History (CORI), Sex Offender Registry (SORI), and Department of Children and Families (DCF-MA) / Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF-RI) checks.
