Program Executive

About the role

The Program Executive is a senior leadership role accountable for the business performance, customer success, commercial discipline, and deployment outcomes of large-scale AI data center programs. Operating with a General Manager mindset, this role owns assigned programs within the AI infrastructure deployments including operational readiness, supply chain coordination, commissioning, financial performance, risk management, and operational handoff. The Program Executive leads through influence across internal functions, vendors, OEMs, colocation partners, and customer stakeholders to drive decisions, remove blockers, and deliver measurable results. While this role has no direct people-management responsibility, it carries significant matrix leadership accountability for protecting margin, accelerating deployment readiness, strengthening customer relationships, and enabling profitable growth.

What you'll be doing

• Serve as the accountable executive owner for assigned AI data center deployment programs.
• Operate with General Manager-level accountability for revenue protection, margin performance, deployment velocity, financial discipline, scope control, customer satisfaction, contractual alignment, risk posture, site readiness, and profitable growth enablement.
• Contributes to the governance structure and deployment approach.
• Translate customer AI infrastructure objectives, contractual obligations, commercial commitments, site-specific constraints, and internal strategic priorities into integrated execution plans, readiness criteria, decision frameworks, executive dashboards, and measurable deployment outcomes.
• Lead program-level execution through matrixed teams across Sales, Professional Services, Engineering, Service Delivery, Field Services, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Security, EHS, OEM partners, integration partners, colocation providers, and strategic vendors.
• Act as a senior level interface and primary escalation point for customers, senior delivery and operational stakeholders, delivery leaders, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders on complex deployment, commercial, operational, technical, or readiness matters.
• Establish and continuously improve program level governance forums, including deployment steering committees, site readiness reviews, business reviews, operating reviews, risk forums, commercial reviews, recovery meetings, vendor performance reviews, and customer escalation routines.
• Own program-level business performance by monitoring and influencing financial results, forecasts, resource plans, change orders, scope adherence, contract obligations, and deployment milestones.
• Drive alignment across critical AI data center deployment dependencies, including power availability, cooling readiness, network connectivity, hardware delivery, rack integration, site access, security requirements, staging, logistics, installation sequencing, commissioning, validation, and operational handoff.
• Anticipate, assess, and resolve issues across business, technical, operational, financial, contractual, customer, vendor, supply chain, site readiness, and partner dimensions by aligning stakeholders and securing timely decisions.
• Ensure program commitments, deployment milestones, readiness gates, service obligations, budgets, schedules, quality standards, risk controls, safety requirements, and customer expectations are clearly defined, actively governed, and communicated with transparency.
• Identify and advance opportunities to increase customer value, expand AI data center services, improve deployment scalability, strengthen account performance, improve repeatability, and support profitable growth through disciplined program leadership.
• Represent the voice of the customer while balancing Computacenter's commercial, operational, contractual, compliance, safety, risk, and strategic interests.
• Prepare executive-ready communications, including deployment scorecards, site readiness reports, financial updates, risk summaries, decision recommendations, recovery plans, operating reviews, customer business reviews, and strategic roadmap updates.
• Drive continuous improvement across AI deployment governance standards, site readiness playbooks, deployment runbooks, reporting routines, documentation, tooling, operating processes, vendor coordination models, and operational handoff practices.
• Partner with senior business leaders to deliver AI data center services that support company objectives and are consistent with Winning Together values.

What you have

• 12+ years of progressive experience leading complex technology programs, enterprise customer engagements, professional services delivery, mission-critical infrastructure programs, data center deployments, business operations, transformation initiatives, or strategic service portfolios.
• Demonstrated success owning large-scale, high-value, multi-workstream deployment programs with accountability for business outcomes, customer success, governance, delivery performance, commercial results, financial discipline, risk management, site readiness, and executive stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with data center, cloud infrastructure, AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, GPU cluster deployment, networking, managed services, systems integration, professional services, or similar technology services environments strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with AI data center deployment dependencies such as power, cooling, cabling, network connectivity, rack integration, hardware logistics, site access, commissioning, validation, burn-in, production readiness, and operational handoff preferred.
• Experience operating at a senior individual contributor, executive program leadership, business operations, or General Manager-equivalent level with broad influence across functions, business units, customers, vendors, and partner organizations.
• Proven ability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment, drive accountability without direct reporting authority, and align senior stakeholders around complex business, technical, financial, and operational decisions.
• Experience managing or influencing program economics, including revenue, margin drivers, forecasts, budgets, resource plans, scope management, change control, commercial risk, contract obligations, customer-facing business reviews, and deployment recovery plans.
• Experience leading executive governance, steering committees, site readiness reviews, recovery plans, operating reviews, vendor performance reviews, customer escalations, strategic roadmap discussions, and cross-functional decision forums.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• MBA, advanced business degree, PMP, PgMP, Agile, ITIL, Data Center, cloud, infrastructure, supply chain, or similar program, project, service management, or business leadership certification preferred.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Executive presence with the ability to engage credibly with senior customer, partner, vendor, site, and internal leadership.

• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including the ability to understand revenue, margin, forecasts, budgets, scope, change control, risk exposure, deployment trade-offs, and customer commitments.
• Strategic business leadership with the ability to translate AI infrastructure objectives and company priorities into executable deployment plans, governance models, readiness criteria, and measurable outcomes.
• Working knowledge of AI data center deployment environments, including high-density compute, GPU/HPC infrastructure, power and cooling dependencies, rack integration, network readiness, hardware logistics, commissioning, validation, and operational handoff.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, conflict-resolution, vendor management, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to lead through ambiguity, complexity, compressed deployment timelines, competing priorities, supply chain constraints, site readiness gaps, and high-stakes escalations while maintaining focus on customer outcomes, quality, cost, schedule, safety, risk, and profitability.
• Strong judgment and decision discipline, with the ability to frame trade-offs, recommend action, escalate effectively, and drive timely executive decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with customers, partners, OEMs, vendors, senior leaders, field teams, technical teams, and cross-functional delivery organizations.
• Knowledge of technology delivery models, professional services operations, project governance, managed services, change control, deployment runbooks, site readiness processes, service delivery practices, and customer success disciplines.
• Process-oriented and operationally disciplined, with the ability to create, improve, and enforce scalable AI deployment standards, governance routines, readiness playbooks, reporting practices, and operational handoff processes.
• Professional self-starter with strong organizational discipline and the ability to manage multiple complex deployments, escalations, vendors, stakeholders, and customer expectations simultaneously.
• Advanced written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to prepare concise executive-level communications, deployment scorecards, customer business reviews, recovery plans, and decision materials.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Power BI, Salesforce, and other program management, deployment tracking, financial reporting, or executive dashboard tools preferred.
• Travel required based on customer, site, deployment, and business needs.
