Digital Asset Manager

Digital Archivist

Looking for a digital archivist to join our small close-knit digital asset management team. In this contract role, the archivist will support the enterprise by archiving creative projects, photos, videos, and other documents in the Image Library enterprise DAM. Additionally, they will offer project support by fielding image/video search requests and assist in maintenance of the DAM and its assets and metadata.

Responsibilities:

• Ingest corporate photo/video shoots and creative projects into DAM application, apply metadata following corporate taxonomy, information retention and digital rights management
• Metadata management.
• Ensures accuracy of descriptive, structural, and administrative metadata.
• Follows professional metadata standards for cataloging born-digital archival materials.
• Audits and performs clean-ups of metadata as needed.
• Manage incoming requests through Workfront submitted by internal and external stakeholders needing image/video search assistance and collections uploaded to DAM Ensure that assets ingested into DAM and provided for requests meet brand and HSE standards, and size, resolution, format, etc. requirements Fulfill requests by sourcing assets in the DAM or identifying and purchasing 3rd party stock media Assist in general maintenance of DAM application, including audits and testing Manage user access to DAM application and train new DAM users/groups as needed

Required Qualifications/Education:

• Master’s degree in library/Information Science Management (preferred) experience will be considered.
• Equivalent. Digital and corporate archives emphasis preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with an archives collection with digital assets or as a digital asset management professional.
• Demonstrated project management and photo production process skills, including a strong understanding of databases and working knowledge of a variety of digital content formats and standards Knowledge of a variety of productivity applications, database systems, and graphic editors is preferred.
• General technological savvy and an ability to keep abreast of technological developments within the industry.
• Experience working in Workfront, Adobe Suite, and Sitecores Content Hub (preferred)
• Independently motivated and able to prioritize work to meet deadlines Someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills in a corporate setting Detail-oriented and reliable A team player and collaborator.
