Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-focused care. Collaborating with medical professionals, the RN provides both pre-operative and post-operative nursing services. The RN acts as a patient advocate to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in status.

• Carry out procedures or tasks as directed by the medical provider.

• Record the administration of care in the patient’s medical record promptly and thoroughly.

• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.

• Stay informed about medications, procedures, and equipment relevant to the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Qualifications Required:

• Current Registered Nurse license in Tennessee or a valid compact state license.

• Effective communication skills.

• Educational background – ASN required, BSN preferred.
