Quality Control Chemist

Essential Job Functions:

• Coordinate and supervise the testing and monitoring of raw materials, finished products, packaging, labeling and reworks to ensure product quality.
• Provide daily production support which includes wet chemistry analysis and determines adjustments to products during the manufacturing process.
• Oversee wastewater treatment process and monitor water quality for product manufacture.
• Responsible for QA/QC laboratory chemical analysis, equipment standardization, s.o.p.'s.
• Assist with rework of off-spec products or obsolete raw materials.
• Works on product development projects as assigned by the Technical Director
• Any other responsibilities delegated by the Technical Director or on-site plant manager.
• Provide feedback for product specifications.
• Assure paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Conduct quality audits on products in the warehouse

Qualifications /Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science, Degree in Chemistry or another related field preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, five years' experience in a laboratory setting.
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Attention to detail
• Multitasking
• Flexibility in daily schedule
