Associate Scientist, Lab Operations

IQVIA Laboratories seeks an Associate Scientist to perform routine laboratory testing, data analysis, and documentation in compliance with standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines. The role involves analytical work, equipment maintenance, quality support, and collaboration across laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document analytical procedures according to standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines
• Analyze routine data, identify anomalies, and escalate findings to senior personnel
• Prepare buffers and solutions; perform equipment calibration and maintenance
• Support quality investigations, deviations, and laboratory process improvements
• Train laboratory personnel and assist with onboarding of new team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and laboratory experience
• Six months of experience in a regulated laboratory environment preferred
• Proficiency with buffer preparation, equipment calibration, and maintenance
• Knowledge of laboratory safety, infection control, and hazardous chemical handling
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify unusual results
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Applicable certifications required by applicable regulatory bodies

Compensation: $42,700-$89,000 base
