Co-Care/Virtual Nursing Model is utilized on this unit. For every patient there is 1 bedside RN, a Virtual RN, and 1 CNA. Beside RN 1:4CNA patient ratios are 1:6The virtual nurse works remotely and assists patient with admission, discharge, rounding, education, plans of care, and safety rounds.Must has AK RN license in hand for Auto Offer.30% of patient population are cardiac in nature. CHF, MI, S/p TAVR, MVR patients, Pacemaker patients, Cardiac arrythmia patients, Drug load patients, Angiovac, ACS patients, etc.Respiratory patients including COVID, FLU, COPD and Asthma exacerbations, Trach patients (>24h since placement), chronic home ventilators. Able to do high flow NC and BIPAP.Overflow for Neuro patients, Renal patients.Complicated medical surgical patients requiring higher level of monitoring. Travelers can only work for a maximum of 1 calendar year in their assignment. Travelers are then required to take a minimum of a 6-month break before returning for another traveler assignment at the same facility.
