Requirements:

• Active RN license with Nursys verification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in stepdown or neuro specialty.
• NIHSS certification (required to be submitted for consideration).
• ACLS certification.
• EPIC EMR experience (please indicate on application).
• Recent work history with no employment gaps over 60 days.
• Skills checklist, professional references, and certification card.
• Demographics including a badge-appropriate photo.
• Will consider strong med/surg nurses with NIHSS, ACLS, and stepdown experience.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert care to neuro stepdown patients, ensuring safe transitions and continuous monitoring.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate patient status effectively.
• Flex between neuro stepdown and med/surg patients as needed.
• Work required weekends; no block scheduling.
