We're looking for a proactive Onboarding Specialist to help our security officers start their careers with confidence and clarity.
As a Human Resources/Onboarding Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for new hires. Your role ensures that all security personnel are fully prepared, trained, and equipped to succeed from day one. You will coordinate the onboarding process, maintain compliance with licensing and training requirements, and support new employees as they integrate into our team. Full time, M-F, dayshift position. 1+YEARS OFFICE EXPERIENCE in this type of work is a MUST! You will not be considered without meeting this requirement. This is not a beginner position. Key responsibilities include managing the onboarding process for all new security officer hires from offer acceptance through first day, controlling uniform inventory, ensuring all licensing, background checks, certifications, and compliance documentation are completed accurately and on time, conducting orientation sessions, coordinating initial drug testing at local lab, fingerprint appointments, licensing applications, training schedules, serving as a primary point of contact for new hires, collaborating with management to identify onboarding improvements, maintaining detailed records and reports of onboarding activities and compliance documentation, creating monthly newsletters, working in the WA. ST. SAW account, ESD, and L&I often.
Qualifications include prior experience in HR required, training, or employee onboarding (security experience a plus), strong organizational skills with attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism, knowledge of security industry requirements and licensing processes preferred, and use of Outlook email, Word docs & Excel spreadsheet daily.

Busy office. 70+ employees during busiest times. Must be very organized and love working with people. Multi-tasking is a daily necessity. Must be available to start work in-office, this is not a remote job listing!
