Registered Nurse (Med Surg/Tele)

This position is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and the standards of professional nursing practice. The role requires specialized knowledge and judgment in delivering quality nursing services and managing patient care for those under the nurse's direction.

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours guaranteed

Responsibilities

• Assess patient data and plan appropriate nursing care.
• Implement and evaluate care plans that consider the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
• Document care provided and outcomes achieved.
• Utilize specialized nursing skills for patient assessments and care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience.
• 2+ years of experience working with stroke patients.
• Willingness to take on telemetry patients as needed.
• Must obtain NIHSS Certification within 48 hours if offered.
• Must obtain mRs/SIREN Certification within 48 hours if offered.
• Must complete Basic EKG and score 85% or higher within 48 hours if offered.
• COVID vaccination required; declinations not accepted.
• Active RN license; verification must be less than 30 days old.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
• Previous travel experience preferred.
