Unit Specifics Number of Beds: 39 Patient Ratios: 4:1 (with surge beds assigned to each section) Staffing Description: Includes a free lead, unit clerk, behavioral health sitters, paramedics, EMTs, and LPNs. Type of Equipment: Rapid Infuser, Glidescope Documentation System: Meditech EDM Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend Floating Policy: N/A Patient Experience Focus: Emphasis on teamwork in care and individual attention to patients. Qualifications Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar settings, with competence in managing critical care infusions, sedation practices, ESI, and acute codes. Advanced Skills: Proficiency in handling STEMI, Stroke, Sepsis cases, with preferred experience in Trauma. Procedures Performed: Intubation, chest tube insertion, and splinting. Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI. Dress Code Charcoal grey scrubs are required for all staff.
